Special orders
How are custom orders handled?
If an order requires additional payment due to customization, a PayPal additional request for funds will be sent, indicating why.
Shipping Questions
How much is shipping? Shipping is free to continental US.
(Alaska and Hawaii add 24.00)
How long will my order take to be delivered?
Regular ground shipping ( 3-9 days) if there is a back log over 4 weeks I ship priority mail ( 2-3 days). I have an average back log of 2 - 3 weeks.
Someone will need to sign for the shipment. Urns must be signed for. Usually customers just stop by their local post office and pick their package up.
Returns and Guarantee
If not fully satisfied with your standard urn you may return it within 7 days of receiving the item; for a full refund, less shipping and a 10% restocking fee. Urns with custom engraving are not returnable. For the original purchaser, I offer a lifetime guarantee on the craftsmanship. You pay shipping and I will repair or replace.
Service and Cremation
What can you expect back from the crematorium?
Usually, they will return to you a plastic bag or cardboard box. The cremains will be in a 'plastic-like' bag inside the box.
The cremains should be left in the plastic bag. If for any reason you need to remove the cremains from the bag, you must seal the bottom of the urn with silicone.
My service works particularly well when the funeral service is held before cremation. After cremation, the funeral home will hold the cremains until the urn arrives and enclose the urn for you.
How do I know what size urn to buy?
The general rule of thumb is for every pound a person weighs, you will need 1 cubic inch. (ie. a man who weighed 200 lbs. would need a 200 cubic inch urn).
